.
Airflow has been awarded the stringent ISO 14001 approval as a result of continued improvement of its Environmental Management Systems and practices.
Attaining the internationally accepted standard represents the achievement of maintaining profitability whilst reducing the environmental impact in the daily operation of all aspects of the organisation.
Vanessa Downs, Team Manager at BSI Group presented the award to Airflow Operations Director, Paul Carpenter and Engineering and Quality Manager, Narinder Kalsi at Airflow's head office.
"Achieving certification to an environmental management system such as ISO 14001 will demonstrate to customers and business partners alike that Airflow takes sustainability issues seriously and is prepared to work hard for these important 'green credentials', says Vanessa Downs.
Airflow Marketing Manager John Kelly said: "We are very pleased to have met the requirements of complying with ISO 14001. It is a testament to Airflow's core corporate commitment to running the business with environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources at its heart and creating ventilation products with a reduced environmental impact. Being able to demonstrate that we are an environmentally conscious business is of real benefit and offers reassurance to end users, builders and specifiers who choose Airflow products ahead of non-compliant equipment in their build."
