WINNER: Airflow Developments for the Adroit MVHR range

At the core of the ADROIT’S functionality is its ability to recover up to 93% of heat from extracted air through a highly efficient conduction process. Energy-rich extracted air passes over heat exchanger plates, warming the incoming supply air while keeping the air streams separate to prevent cross-contamination. This ensures that stale air does not mix with fresh air, greatly enhancing indoor air quality and reducing energy loss. The system’s performance is capable of ventilating up to 258 litres/sec with an exceptionally low operational noise level of just 35dB(A), making it barely noticeable even during daily use. By effectively reusing heat, the Adroit system significantly reduces the workload on conventional heating systems, leading to lower household energy bills and a minimised carbon footprint.

One of the standout features of the Adroit system is its smart frost protection, allowing it to operate reliably even in extremely cold weather conditions. The system bypasses the heat exchanger during defrosting, using an optional heater to warm the incoming air without wasting energy. This ensures that 100% of the heater’s energy is effectively utilised, maximising performance while reducing power consumption. The Adroit MVHR units also feature an intelligent automatic control system with four user operating profiles, easily adjustable via a digital controller, manual switch, or remotely through the Adroit Cloud. This allows homeowners to customise their ventilation to specific needs, ensuring energy is used efficiently. Integral sensors for CO2 and humidity enable demand-controlled ventilation, boosting airflow only when necessary and further reducing energy consumption. Judge’s comment: “It combines exceptional energy recovery with innovative design, making it a game-changer for sustainable living.”
