The course combines technical learning with practical training, helping you build the knowledge and confidence to install and commission domestic ventilation system correctly.
The course is split into two days. The first day focuses on the fundamental principles of domestic ventilation and the requirements for effective installation. The second day puts your knowledge into practice, with a focus on commissioning, inspection, testing and certification.
Who Is It For?
The course is ideal for experienced electricians, plumbers, ventilation installers and heating engineers looking to improve their understanding of domestic ventilation. Basic knowledge of domestic ventilation systems is recommended.
Train at the Air Academy
Located at Airflow’s Air Academy training facility in High Wycombe, the course provides a practical, hands-on learning environment with access to real ventilation systems and equipment.
NICEIC Competent Persons Scheme
Successful completion of the training provides the required qualification to support an
application to join the NICEIC Competent Persons Scheme for domestic ventilation systems.
Please note that an additional application and fee apply to join the scheme.
Cancellation
If you wish to change the date you have booked or can no longer attend a course, we ask that you notify customer_services@airflow.com at least two weeks in advance of the course start date. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the course start date will be non-refundable, however if there are spaces available, Airflow may agree to an alternative course date.
You will be notified as soon as possible if for any reason Airflow has to cancel a course date.
