The 75mm intumescent metal fire sleeve consists of a continuous pressed steel shell containing a high-performance graphite-based intumescent material, which reacts under the influence of heat to exert pressure on the plastic vent duct as it softens to form a carbonaceous char. This provides an effective insulation plug, preventing fire from passing through to the adjoining compartment.

The intumescent fire sleeve is specifically designed to help prevent fire from spreading through plastic ventilation ducts where they penetrate fire compartment lines. No mechanical fixings for installation needed and its performance isn't affected by weather, making it an ideal solution for durability. The sleeve can be retrofitted and installed as a cluster with multiple ducts.
