Airflow Launches NICEIC Ventilation Installer Training Courses
Airflow has expanded its training offering with the launch of NICEIC Ventilation Installer Training at the Air Academy in High Wycombe, providing experienced installers and contractors with specialist training in domestic ventilation systems.
The NICEIC Ventilation Installer Training Scheme has been introduced to support professionals working across the building services industry, helping them develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to correctly install, test, commission and certify domestic ventilation systems.
As ventilation continues to play an increasingly important role in delivering healthy, energy-efficient homes, having the right knowledge and practical skills is essential for installers. The course provides a dedicated opportunity for industry professionals to build their competence in domestic ventilation and gain a recognised qualification.
Two-day NICEIC ventilation training course
The two-day ventilation installer training course combines technical learning with practical, hands-on training at Airflow’s Air Academy in High Wycombe.
The course covers the fundamental principles of domestic ventilation, ventilation standards and legal requirements, different types of ventilation systems, installation methods, system design and preparation, inspection and testing, MVHR commissioning and certification and documentation.
The first day focuses on the principles and requirements behind effective domestic ventilation installation. On the second day, delegates put their knowledge into practice, with practical training focused on ventilation commissioning, inspection, testing and certification.
This combination of classroom learning and practical experience is designed to give installers greater confidence when working with domestic ventilation systems and carrying out installation and commissioning work.
